Plex is making its Live TV over-the-air functionality free for three months in an effort to help users through these difficult times. From now until June 30th, no Plex Pass will be required to watch free, over-the-air broadcasts in any supported Plex player apps.
To use Plex's Live TV feature you'll need a compatible tuner and antenna connected to your Plex Media Server. If you don't already have a tuner and antenna, some partners have offered discounts to Plex users which can be found here.
The offer does not include DVR functionality, only the ability to view Live TV. However, you can get DVR functionality with a Plex Pass subscription if needed. It also limits guide data to 48 hours, compared to two weeks with Plex Pass.
